Online Exclusive Recipe: Honey Grilled Peaches

HONEY GRILLED PEACHES WITH CRÈME FRAICHE

INGREDIENTS:

6 large peaches, firm but ripe,
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
½ cup honey, slightly heated
1 cup whipping cream
2 tbsp. buttermilk

INSTRUCTIONS:
CRÈME FRAICHE

Prepare crème fraiche first by whisking buttermilk into whipping cream and let sit for 24 hours in room temperature. Stir thick mixture and refrigerate for an additional 5-6 hours before serving.

PEACHES

Cut peaches in half and remove the pit.
Combine melted butter with honey and thoroughly mix.
Lightly coat each peach with the honey-butter mixture using a soft brush.
Place the coated peached on a grill over medium heat. Grill until lightly brown.

Serve each peach in a small dish with a dollop of crème fraiche and sprinkle lightly with honey oat cereal or sliced almonds. Drizzle with a small spoonful of heated honey.

Makes 6 serving (half peach) or 3 servings (whole peach stacked)
